Heineken has long had an association with the 007 franchise and is a sponsor of the latest movie, Casino Royale. The film, scheduled for release in the UK on 17 November, introduces new James Bond actor Daniel Craig, (pictured) who replaces Pierce Brosnan.

Previous Heineken involvement began with product placement in the film Tomorrow Never Dies in 1997. Heineken ran advertising alongside the film featuring the now deceased actor Desmond Llewelyn, who played inventor Q in the franchise. The print campaign carried the strapline “Some things should be shaken, not stirred.”

The recent Bond-related campaigns were developed by Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam. However, Strawberry Frog was appointed to the brewer’s account last August following a final pitch against McCann Erickson, London.

The brewer did state last year that it was moving spend out of television and into alternative forms of marketing.

Hab ich persönlich also zumindest nix gegen einzuwenden - solang Bond nicht mit einer großen Heinekendose über die Straße läuft (wobei ich das nichtmal ausschließen würde...)

Ich habe nichts gegen PP, sofern die präsentierten Güter denn einigermaßen ansprechend sind...
Mal gucken, wie die das mit Heineken denn einbauen werden. Aber wenn es einigermaßen dezent ist, dann hab ich nichts dagegen!

James Bond wird in ein paar Sequenzen des Films in einem Ford Mondeo durch die Gegend kutschern... Und da wurde von der Presse wieder ein Theater drum gemacht, unglaublich... Dabei sollte man eigentlich wissen, dass Ford seit DAD ne Menge Geld dafür hinblättert, dass ihre Wagen zu sehen sind.

Hast in der Tat etwas verpasst Goldy :-)

Heineken Bonds With CASINO ROYALE

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/29/2006 -- Heineken International today announced that it has partnered with EON Productions and Sony Pictures Entertainment to launch a world-wide promotional campaign for the 21st James Bond film, CASINO ROYALE.

The campaign will include a television commercial featuring Eva Green, who stars as Vesper Lynd in the film. The ad directed by Oscar winning director Steven Gaghan will be shot on the CASINO ROYALE set in the Czech Republic and will be broadcast in 30 and 45 second versions on TV and cinemas through-out November and December 2006.

The promotional campaign will also comprise on- and off-premise promotions, interactive and digital activities, radio promotions, consumer competitions and tie-ins with local Sony publicity and promotional events. The promotional campaign will be activated in approximately 40 countries worldwide. Heineken beer will also featured in scenes from the movie.
