Wenn ich Zeit habe such ich mal. Ich hab das v.a. in Interviews gesehen. Ist keine bloße Behauptung, bin ich mir wirklich sicher.

Craig hat es just grade noch mal gesagt, dass sie bei QOS ein schwaches Script hatten, aber doch einen ordentlichen Film raus gemacht haben.
Vor allem aber:

We had the bare bones of a script and then there was a writers’ strike and there was nothing we could do. We couldn’t employ a writer to finish it. I say to myself, “Never again”, but who knows? We were stuffed. We got away with it, but only just. It was never meant to be as much of a sequel as it was, but it ended up being a sequel, starting where the last one finished.’

Wo steht etwas von 'schwach'?

Ja, das kannte ich auch. Aber da waren noch mehr ähnliche Aussagen.

Na, die Umstände und Probleme durch den Autorenstreik sind ja allgemein bekannt.
Und das Bemerkenswerte in meinen Augen ist, dass trotzdem ein so toller Film rausgekommen ist.

Das ist jetzt Düpfelsch... . Das implizieren seine Aussagen, die man hinsichtlich des Scripts jetzt nun wirklich nicht positiv "umdeuten" kann.

Ich dachte bisher eigentlich, dass man schon zu CR-Zeiten eine direkte Fortsetzung geplant hatte.

Nö, nicht wirklich...einfach die falsche Passage ausgewählt als Begründung für eine Aussage.
Möglicherweise steht das andere ja auch noch in diesem Interview?!

Da ist nur die Rede von den Schwierigkeiten und was es für ein sch... Job gewesen ist.

Ich interpretiere diese Aussage so, dass man durchaus das ein oder andere aufnehmen wollte (Mr. White?!), aber nicht daran gedacht hatte ein richtiges Sequel zu machen 'in dem Maße, wie es dann zustande kam'.

Klingt für meine bescheidenen Englisch-Kenntnisse nicht wie eine Lobeshymne auf den Film. Für dich?

Das ist aber auf die Situation bezogen. Er war ja nun mal eigentlich nur als Schauspieler angestellt und nicht als Drehbuchschreiber.
Die Ausdrücke gelten nicht der Qualität des Buches oder des Films.

Jeder kann da reindeuteln was er will. Ich teile deine Deutungsweise jedenfalls nicht. Zumal Craig sich auch an anderen Stellen immer wieder kritisch zu QOS geäußert hat.
